Painted this lady for Jim at Dark Sword miniatures. There were a number of challenges to this piece, not the least of which is constantly comparing myself to Rhonda and Matt's already excellent versions. I hope I brought something new to it without losing the spirit in which the model was made.. =) I've got a few shiney issues in places, but despite several layers of matte sealer and much cursing, the model continues to defy me. The sleeves are a bit overexposed, but at least the parrot isn't =)
