This model is part of the box-set commission I am doing from Elmore Masterworks #7. This one and the male similarly armored were the two I was least looking forward to painting. I had a bit of trouble - ended up stripping both and starting over. However, I think I learned a bit about NMM and painting fiddly bits with this one. I meant to make the armor more white with a purple undertone, but the purple turned out a bit more intense than I intended. It's very difficult to photograph, though! I wasn't crazy about the face on this one - it looks very manly - but I think it turned out fairly well. Considering all the pale colors on the model, I thought snow was appropriate for the base.

The sword is my 2nd attempt at NMM. The armor I thought about trying to go for a shiney metallic look, but it turned out more like iron, to my eye. I like it, though.
