This miniature was painted for the Chick Challenge IV. She did not, unfortunately, win even an honorable mention. Although, I did win a free reaper mini and copy of the limited edition miniature by having my name drawn out of a hat. Who needs skill when you have luck, right?

This miniature was converted from a vasa marine. She originally had a gun in the hand that is now holding a staff. Both the conversion (which involved twisting the outstretched hand) and the snake were done courtesy of my fiance. Yes, that's a snake between her feet.. She's a witch, and that's her familiar. It's part of a current post-apocalypse future/fantasy d20 game I'm currently invovled in. It's more complicated than it sounds, too. Scary, eh?

One of my favorite paint jobs to date. I think I did a very good job with her face especially. I think I really captured Evelyn's expression. Also, this was the first time I dared trying to paint eyebrows!
