Newest Minis

05/21/08: Got pictures of my ReaperCon painting contest entry. Didn't get it started until Friday morning (it was due by noon on Saturday). Anyway, it's a Winter Fairy.

05/11/08: I've got a pair of vampires today: Privateer Press's Everblight Shepherd and Brigade Models' Morrigan, Priestess of the Horned God. They're for the Vampire Counts army I'm making out of my husband's old Barrow Kings army.

04/23/08: Two updates in one day?! I'm on a roll! This time it's the ReaperCon Sophie from 2007. It'll go up on auction from Reaper soon.

04/23/08: Here's a quick-ish Celtos figure I did to get back into the swing of things, after far too long of a break! Modron, Concubine of the Horned God.

02/24/08: Final four pictures of the Elmore Critters today - Bat Cat, a red kobold, A kobold out travelling, and a kobold with a lovely canopic jar to sell you.. Also, I darkened/yellowed the fingernails for my Ogress and put up new pictures.

02/21/08: Four figures this time - Parkinson Ogre & Child and some Elmore Critters Dark Sword has recently acquired from Iron Wind Metals: Dinos, Critter from Journey to a Gathering, and a kobold-like creature.

02/09/08: Three new Dark Sword pieces today, from the as-yet unreleased Elmore Masterworks #10 box set: the Witch, the Last Dragon Mage, and a Mermaid.

01/04/08: After several test models, I've settled on a color scheme for my winter-themed wood elf army. The first figure is a high elf maidenguard. Yay.

12/27/07: Finished a figure I've been working on almost since I finished Ollamiel! It's another version of Celtos's Nemain. The figure itself is one of my favorites from the line, but sadly it is no longer part of the Celtos range, due to some legal issue. It's the 2nd time I've painted her, again as a sea elf, but with much, much more skill (4 more years of experience!) and a more impressive base..

12/03/07: Finally finished Reaper's male sea elf, Ollamiel, after much too long of a delay..

11/24/07: Been working on another Kev White lass - Eriu, Gael Champion from the Celtos line for a couple of weeks now, finally finished! Been slow going of late.. :(

11/11/07: Last of the Hasslfree Nubian guards for now is posted. Whew!

11/09/07: Another Hasslefree Nubian finally finished.

11/03/07: Finally finished another Hasslefree Nubian Guard that I've had on the shelf for well over a year. Thankfully, my GM has been very patient and the NPCs these are supposed to represent still haven't made an appearance..

11/02/07: Finished my 2nd round figure for Season 4 of Iron Painter today - a slightly modified Elmore Angel from Dark Sword Miniatures.

10/17/07: I got my hands one of the three pre-release versions of Melisandre from Dark Sword's new Fire and Ice based miniatures at GenCon and actually managed to fit her in while I was working on other projects and finish her before the official release date! It makes me feel better about all those hordes box sets I bought on pre-release at GenCon SoCal 3 years ago.. that I never did anything with.. mutter.. Anyway, they're beautiful models, can't wait for the rest!!!

10/13/07: Finished Mebh the Ice Witch for the Iron Painter contest over at Wyrd Games.

10/02/07: I painted a pair of figures for Newbold World today - the Sin Twins, whom I've taken to calling the Jubilant Twins - Jubi and Lee. They'll be auctioned for charity in the next week or so.

09/26/07: Got to paint something just for me on monday - Danu, Priestess of the Mother Goddess. I've had the model around for ages and have always wanted to paint it. It's one of my favorites, not sure why.. Anyway, I had fun experimenting with the flesh color.

09/22/07: Finished!!! Here are pics of the last figure from Elmore #9 - a female fighter. Whew! I also fiddled with the face on the sea-elf pirate lass a bit and posted new pictures.

09/21/07: Pictures of the 2nd version of the Elmore pirate lass.

09/20/07: Almost done! I have pictures of the sorceress from Elmore #9, as well as new pictures for the drow with slightly lighter hair. The 2nd pirate is finished, just waiting for the dullcote to dry. Hopefully, two more pictures tomorrow!

09/14/07: I have a finished version of the Elmore Pirate Lass, version 1, today. Still have two figures from box #9 and the 2nd pirate lass (I think I will paint her as a sea elf) to go..

09/12/07: The archer from Elmore Masterworks #9 is done today.

09/08/07: Another model from Elmore Masterworks #9! This time the witch painted as a drow. Still have to do some repainting on the dress for the female mage, so hopefully more pictures soon.. I got a new light box and some new tips on photo editing that I'm hoping will make the picture end of this smoother and faster in the future! This was my first model using both, so of course it took longer.. ;)

09/03/07: Finished another model from Elmore Masterworks #9 - an adventuress. I also have new pictures of the female mage, this time with fluffy stuff and some flowers on her base.

08/27/07: First model from Elmore Masterworks #9 today - a female mage. Fairly simple sculpt to get started with.. Now on to the hard stuff! :)

08/23/07: Here's pictures of my GenCon Indy 2007 diorama entry: "Thistle and Orchid on Patrol" It didn't place this year (I don't think it really came close..), but I'm really pleased with how it turned out - my most ambitions project so far, I think. It's got a couple of Hasslefree minis and a crunch-waffle waggamaeph as true-scale fairies.

08/21/07: I have pics of three of my four gencon entries this year: The Frog Queen from Dark Sword Miniatures, a Sea Dragon from the same, and the female sea elf from Reaper Minis. The trip home was awful, I need another nap, and then maybe I'll get the pictures of my diorama entry ready!

08/04/07: Con season again! Here's something I had to finish before GenCon but not as an entry: Dark Sword Caldwell Pirate. I've been working on her for about 2 months, off and on, and am quite relieved to be finished - and pleasantly surprised with how she turned out!

06/25/07: This time I have a hasslefree miniature: Shimmer (b).

06/24/07: Painted a CrunchWaffle Waggamaeph for fun over the last week or so

06/12/07: Replaced Lanyssa's pictures with ones taken with a black background instead of a gray, so it matches the monochrome scheme.

06/08/07: This week I decided to experiment with a monochrome painting - with an iron kingdoms nyss painted as a frost elf (I love frost elves almost as much as I do sea elves). Also, I have finally taken pictures of my master class entry at ReaperCon 2007: Clarissa, Banshee. She's a figure for Warlord.

06/03/07: Finally got the Anime School Girl with Ham-Hammer 3000 finished for Ginfritter. This is an absolutely beautiful mini, but I'm really not used to paining in this scale! Reapercon also wreaked havoc with my schedule, so this took about a month and a half for me to finish. But it's done! Horray!

4/24/07: Another Iron Painter entry today: this round was "sheer madness," so I tried to paint a hasslefree strumpet with a see-through dress. She'a also up on ebay until April 29th.

3/24/07: Thank god for Iron Painter! If not for that, I think I still wouldn't have managed to get anything painted.. this weekend I have the Vampiress from Reaper 2990: Crypt of the Vampiress, painted as a drow. The theme ingredient was black, and a GREAT inspiration. Horray! This is also the first of my minis with pictures from my new camera. I'm slowly getting the hang of it.. :)

03/07/07: Two minis from earlier this year that I had entered in the Wyrd Minis Femme Fatale contest. Since that's finally over, I can share them. Neither placed: Another Ilyad and Another Dark Sword. The other mini is something I've wanted to paint for a while: Wazabi, Female Goblin from Rackham.

02/22/07: Been slow for me lately, but here's another commission model: a demon from Fenryll.

02/03/07: Today I have an Ilyad miniature painted on commission: Brudar Gustav of the Gothic Empire.

01/31/07: I have a reaper familiar to show off today: a rat dressed up for a night on the town. Enjoy!

01/22/07: Pictures of a miniature for a D&D game that gave me alot of trouble, but at least it's done - Hasselfree's Anghela as a whisper gnome archivist.

01/12/07: Here's a miniature I finished for Reaper last night: Female Necromancer w/ Tome.

01/02/07: I have some pictures of a mini I finished a few days ago for Dark Sword Miniatures - my version of the Black Witch from Parkinson Masterworks #1 - this one all done up in Christmas Red. :)

12/26/06: Several minis added today - Minis my husband and I did for Christmas presents for family.

12/15/06: I've got another model from Crunch Waffle today - this is a Contrary, who does everything backwards. I'm supposed to watch a movie called Little Big Man to really understand it, which I haven't done, so I hope I conveyed it alright.. :)

12/09/06: Today's miniature is one I finished in mid-November, but I have had to impatiently wait on showing pictures until she was added to Reaper's galleries: Mika, Female Samurai, my first commission for Reaper!

12/07/06: Another Dark Sword miniature today, the archer from Elmore Masterworks #3. Painted her in pastels for a change of pace. I also added to and cleaned up my links page a bit

11/30/06: Painted this one a bit last night and finished this afternoon - a poledancer from Hasslefree Miniatures, all "dressed up" for Christmas. he he he.

11/29/06: Sigh.. so I had to repaint Paizo's Lilith from the Ptolus line of miniatures, because the first one was stolen out of my car before I got to the post office! I hope that thieving jerk couldn't figure out what to do with it and went hungry that night..

11/27/06: Finished another Crunch-Waffle mini this month: This time, it's Colletta Mawr, a female centaur. I'm so tired of cleaning miniatures with mold lines on their faces! sigh.

11/16/06: I put Lilith on ebay last night.

11/15/06: New Miniature from Ptolus Miniatures - produced by Paizo Publishing: Lilith.

11/09/06: I finally got my domain name set up, and to celebrate, I've been redesigning the gallery portion of my website, which may cause broken links and falling images in other places. Please excuse the mess.. :)

11/07/06: Life's been a bit hectic for the last couple weeks, so I haven't gotten much painting done of late. However, I have something I finished in August, but have been waiting for Crunch Waffle to release it before I could show it off myself. It's Cassimona, whom I received at GenCon Indy to paint for their most recent set of releases.

10/15/06: New miniature on ebay today - Hasslefree's Almira.

10/06/06: Another Hasslefree miniature today - this time Almira a nude lady watching the geese swim by..

9/25/06: Another small update today - I have added a separate page for the Hasslefree Miniatures I've painted. I've also added a miniature there - Sola, Female Dwarf Pirate painted to represent Pistol Sue, my character in a Shadowrun game. She was a quick model for the dual purpose of the game and the Iron Painter contest over at Wyrd Minaitures. Thanks for looking!

9/25/06: Big update today! 6 models from the Dark Sword Miniatures Parkinson Masterworks #3 box set that I've been working on all month. I got them finished just barely in time for them to accompany Miniatureland in Germany to the DUZI convention. Yay! Since there's so many models, I'm just going to link the Dark Sword Miniatures gallery here. :)

9/09/06: Two updates in one day! Stitch, some kind of Shadowrun guy.

9/09/06: Another Dark Sword Miniature today - this one a variant summoner from the Parkinson Masterworks set #3.

8/29/06: Several updates today - 4 miniatures I finally got around to picturing: Three commissions and a birthday present for my brother. An Iron Kingdoms Battle Chaplain, a Shadowrun mook, a strange man with an exposed brain, and another Paranoia troubleshooter, armed with a vacuum. Enjoy!

8/13/06: Two minis from GenCon today! Firstly, I have Kylara, from Dark Sword Miniatures Elmore Masterworks #7 "Close Combat." She's inspired by a D&D character of mine. She took 3rd place in the general competition in the Diorama category, and 2nd place in the DSM manufacturer awards. Second, I have Caerwynn, Elf Archer from reaper's warlord line. This one won 2nd place in Reaper's manufacturer awards, but did not place in the general Singles category. All in all, I am very happy with how I did.

7/28/06: Finally finished my Crocodile Forum mini painting exchange mini - a limited edition Harbinger of Isis.

7/21/06: Another Shadowrunner today - this time it's Mak Mourn.

7/20/06: Well, Ryan Mercury got new hair, and I have another Shadowrun Mook. Ugly fellow.

7/17/06: Another version of Ryan Mercury, a Shadowrun Mercenary.

7/14/06: Another version of the Shadow Runner today.

7/10/06: Yet another commission today! I really need to make more time for my own projects. This one is Hasslefree's sexy & scary Kalee with her living axe.
