This miniature was painted for the Chick Challenge IV. She did not, unfortunately, win even an honorable mention. Although, I did win a free reaper mini and copy of the limited edition miniature by having my name drawn out of a hat. Who needs skill when you have luck, right?

This miniature was made to represent an NPC fairy in a campaign I'm in. I couldn't really find anything in the actual miniature world that I liked to start with for making her, but when I saw this tinkerbell hallmark mini-ornament, I knew I had something good to start with. :) The conversion was difficult because the material she was made out of was hard to work with. The painting was even harder, especially on her face, because there wasn't a whole lot of detail sculpted there to help me know where to put highlights, shadows, and definition.
