Hasslefree's Sola has been painted up to represent my shadowrun character, known by the street name of Pistol Sue, she is a Gun Adept - by tapping into the magical forces within her, she has honed her body and her mind to the purpose of being the best damned Shadowrunner with a pistol Seattle has ever known. She was also painted up for the first round of the 2nd Iron Painter contest at Wyrd Miniatures. The theme ingredient was weathering, and though I was going for an aged leather look for her boots and jacket, the general consensus seems to be so far that I've failed in that regard. The base was not quite finished at the close of the contest - I painted her in about six hours on the last day for entries! I added more white to the bricks and a few more glazes to the pipe, as well as the water effects. I also touched up her face and some of the blending on the jacket, but probably no more than an extra 1/2 hour to hour of work.
