Normally, I'm not very keen on painting dragons. Granted, I've only painted 1 other, but the scales are kindof a pain. When it turned out I had some extra time for another GenCon entry, though, I thought a dragon for the 40th anniversary was a good idea (From the looks of things, alot of people thought so!). I've always wanted to paint this one. The water didn't turn out quite as I wanted - I painted it several times and have two layers of water effects there (one of which turned out very unfortunately purple). I think there's more depth to the water in person than you can see in the pictures (thanks to all the shine, I guess). Still, she did well for herself at GenCon, and I'm really pleased with how the figure turned out.
