When a friend of mine saw the paint job I had done for a client last July,
he asked me to paint his model up with the exact same color scheme. I had the
freedom (and the time) to do what I wanted with the base. I'm pleased with the
results - I sculpted the curb she's on with greenstuff, edged it with plasticard,
and put down some pumice past for the street. There's supposed to be some water
draining into the sewer - it's not as "gritty" as I was going for, but it works
well enough. I debated putting some moss or grass in the seams between slabs of
sidewalk but decided to leave well enough alone.
I tried to make the makeup a little less overpowering on this version of the model
and I think the eyeshadow looks better, but maybe I need more blush. I see now that some
of the highlights on the black aren't as clean as could be, especially on the boots, but
it looks good for table-top use, so I will leave it as is.
