The tank is small,
yet they never seem to tire,
of swimming all around,
the same thing, everytime.

I'm glad I'm not them,
I'd be so very bored,
what kind of existance
is swimmming back and forth?

I'm happy not being a fish,
nothing to do,
but swim all day,
don't they ever tire?

I guess not,
they're more patient than I,
good thing, too,
or I'm sure they'd be bored.
