For Peace have I suffered long
	And I shall suffer longer 
I will be kind
I shall not envy
	Nor vaunt myself above others; 
		I am not puffed up.  


A Child of Peace behaves not unseemly
	Seeks not profit
	 Provokes not, nor is provoked
A Child of Peace thinks no evil
	Has not vanity
	Nor false intent 


I shall not rejoice in iniquity
	And forever seek the truth
I will be humble
I shall not speak falsely
	Nor make battle with words or weapons; 
		I am not a servant of war.


Peace bears all
Peace believes all
Peace hopes all
Peace endures all

Peace never fails.
